Being a woman of faith today presents many challenges and any ministry helping women should be able to address those obstacles. That is why our church has specific classes and events for female members to help their spiritual growth and to foster their relationship with God. Administered by women for women, these events bring topical discussion and spiritual growth to enrich the lives of those around us.
Ladies Bible Class
This class, taught in rotation by women, helps give a spiritual boost to the week. Taught on Monday afternoons from September to May.
Ladies community ministry
The ladies community ministry includes assisting families in need and encompasses a wide range of activities, including our correspondence ministry, the World Bible School Study Helpers program, and more.
Ladies fellowship events
Throughout the year, the ladies at Whitney Church of Christ regularly attend and host various devotionals, meetings, and workshops. Keep an eye on this page and the Events Calendar to find out what’s coming up.
Saturday night supper club
Sometimes, we need connections in order to really feel like we’re in a church family. A new effort here at Whitney, this gathering of couples for a shared meal is intended to foster that sense of belonging to a family. Contact Brenda Reed to find more and how to take part in this new ministry!
